June 26, 2019

With the support of a grant from the Regional English Language Office at the US Embassy, the Bahrain Teachers College is hosting a curriculum specialist for one month to work with faculty on possible revisions to its Foundation Year Program curriculum. Ms. Ebaugh, an experienced curriculum developer and English language teacher, is focusing on reading and writing across the curriculum, English and Arabic support in non-language courses, and other relevant topics that may provide insight into potential reforms for the program. The goal of the workshops is to prepare BTC faculty to revise the curriculum in the 2019-2020 academic year, ready for implementation in September 2021. Ms. Ebaugh has worked in the US, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries.
